LAUNCH OF THE WORLD ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL SURVEY 2011: THE GREAT GREEN TECHNOLOGICAL TRANSFORMATION

Action for Economic Reforms, the Freedom from Debt Coalition (FDC) and Jubilee South Asia/Pacific Movement on Debt and Development (JSAPMDD) in cooperation with the Development Policy and Analysis Division of the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UNDESA) and the UP National College of Public Administration and Governance (UP NCPAG) are inviting everyone to the launch of the World Economic and Social Survey 2011: The Great Green Technological Transformation on 1 August 2011, Monday, 9:00 a.m., at the Assembly Hall of the UP National College of Public Administration and Governance, University of the Philippines, Diliman, Quezon City.


Mr. Manuel “Butch” Montes (PhD), Chief of Development Strategy and Policy Analysis, Development Policy and Analysis Division of the UNDESA, will be coming to the Philippines to formally launch the World Economic and Social Survey 2011.


The World Economic and Social Survey (WESS) provides objective analysis of pressing long-term social and economic development issues, and discusses the positive and negative impact of corresponding policies.
